Your kit comes with clear step-by-step instructions and the impression itself takes about 60 seconds — no dental experience needed. See our impression guide for photos of each step.
How long does it take?
We dispatch your impression kit the next working day and it usually arrives in 1–2 working days. Once your impression reaches our lab, your custom gumshield is made and delivered within 7–10 working days.
Are they suitable for children?
Yes — we make custom gumshields for juniors as well as adults. Because children's teeth and jaws are still changing, a junior gumshield will need replacing as they grow, often each season.
Can I wear one with braces?
Please don't use the home impression kit if you wear fixed braces. Get in touch and we'll put you in touch with a local dental practice that can take your impression or a scan instead.
What is it made from?
Dental-grade EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) — BPA-free and latex-free, the same type of material used for sports guards made through dental practices.
How do I look after it?
Rinse it in cold water after use and keep it in its case. Avoid hot water and leaving it in a hot car, as heat can change the shape and affect the fit.
What if it doesn't fit?
