Refund policy
Every gumshield is made to order from an impression of your teeth, so our refund policy works a little differently from off-the-shelf products. If anything is unclear, contact us before you order — we're happy to help.
Cancelling your order

| Before your impression kit has been posted | A full refund. |
| After one attempt at the impression putty | A refund of your order, minus £15 to cover the impression kit. |
| Once we've received your impression and started making your gumshield | Your gumshield is custom-made for you, so we can't cancel it at this stage. |
To cancel, email sales@gumshields.com or call 01202 486113 with your order number. You don't need to send the used impression kit back.
Our 100% fit guarantee
Because each gumshield is made for one mouth only, we can't accept returns for a change of mind once it has been made. We will accept a return if your gumshield:
- does not fit properly on the plaster model made from your impression;
- feels uncomfortable in any way that we cannot adjust; or
- has an error in the design or customisation that cannot be amended.
Please contact us before sending anything back so our lab team can help — often we can put things right quickly.
Colours on screen
Colours may look slightly different on different screens. Our colour choices match our product photography, but screens display colours differently, so we can't offer a refund where the colour looks different from how it appeared on your device.
How refunds are paid
We'll refund you to your original payment method as soon as possible, and in any case within 30 days of the date we confirm by email that you're entitled to a refund.
If your gumshield is faulty, we'll refund its price, any delivery charges you paid, and the reasonable cost of returning it to us. The most we'll refund for delivery is the cost of our least expensive delivery method.
Your legal rights
This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
