What is Bruxism?

Bruxism describes a range of related behaviours including teeth grinding, gnashing and clenching of the jaw. Bruxism is usually a subconscious behaviour performed during sleep.

Our clear nightguards are made of a soft material and start at 2mm thick.
They are a great starting point for any bruxism patient.

Nightguards work by raising your bite, which creates a gap between your upper and lower teeth.
This gap will reduce pressure which can be applied on to the opposing teeth.
